The Feast Of Tabernacles/Sukkot 2017 Recap!

Dear Sukkot 2017 Family,

Wow! What an awesome Feast we had! We truly got to enjoy special time with our Creator, with our families and with each other! We created special memories singing together, sharing testimonies of His greatness together, praying together and laughing together! We cooked together, floated on the river together, walked around the park together, played volleyball together and shared our meals together! We learned how to fear Him always and in all ways! We rejoiced before our Maker and were thankful together! Who could forget the awesome “Thank you Heavenly Father! Thank you Heavenly Father! Thank you Heavenly Father! Thank you Heavenly Father!”
We blind folded each other to learn the lessons of walking by faith and not by sight, giving clear instructions, and obeying perfectly! We learned how important accurate thinking is to study His Word as we went on a treasure hunt practicing the concept of Here a Little There a Little (Isaiah 28: 9-10). We learned how to forgive each other as our Savior forgave, and how to Love as He loved. We learned how to Be Ready, endure to the end and truly BELIEVE His Word and how to do that!

So many wonderful things make up the memories and lessons of this year’s Sukkot celebration! None of these things could have happened without the loving help, the giving attitudes, and the free-will offerings of all who attended! So we want to share with all of you one last “Thank you Heavenly Father, Thank you Heavenly Father, Thank you Heavenly Father, Thank you Heavenly Father”! from the Harris Family…Thank you Heavenly Father…

For all who attended this year’s Feast of Tabernacles/Sukkot! EVERYONE played an important part in making it a big success! Thank you for all of the support you all gave to our Sukkot Family! So many people helped not only out in the open, but also behind the scenes in various ways. Yah knows who you all are and what you all did…little things and big things alike such as picking up trash, cleaning up the tent of meeting, helping with the cooking, donating food, sharing extra special treats, special prayers offered up for each other, encouraging words given, backs cared for, information shared to lead each other to better health, kitchen cleaned, dishes washed, babies cared for, children pushed on swings (that were made by someone ), music shared, feet moved with dance, hearts turned to each other, re-commitments to YAH and doing things HIS way, meals shared, tents set up, tents torn down, rides to town, food prepared (and eaten!)… Thank you to ALL!

We want to take time to give a special shout out to:

Big Oak Campground, for all your generosity, easy going and joyful attitudes, and all the time and effort you put into providing a great camp for us to celebrate! It was awesome! ?

The Stahl Family! For everything you brought to make Sukkot Awesome! The tent of meeting and the sound system and helping with the drink station to be specific among other things! Y’all are a blessing in so many ways!

To The Kral Family! For all the chickens, deer and goat y’all donated to folks during the feast! It added a delicious touch!

To Desmond Taber! For spending hard tireless hours seasoning cooking and smoking all the meat on your amazing grill!

To Craig Pearce! For bringing all the leafy branches for rejoicing and for the Sukkahs! Your effort was such a blessing, and we are so appreciative especially after the hurricane damaged your area, making your offering a bit more difficult to achieve!

To Joey, Jeremy, Joseph, Paige, Ben, Bob, Desmond, and anyone else who helped our family with kitchen duty! All your help was greatly appreciated!

To John Stockton! For giving people chiropractic treatments! ?

To the Gonzales Family! For bringing more instruments, and music to worship with!

To Caleb and Michael Camero to Vivian, the Stockton girls and the Stahl boys for helping to take videos and pictures!

To the Guajardo Family! For providing the Water filter system so we had good water and did not have to leave to fill up the jugs! And to all those who extended their willing hands to help out with the community drink station!

And just to everyone else! Y’all added so much playing your parts! Your smiles, love, subjects to discuss, perspectives, giving of gifts, doing little things and big things! Everyone was such a blessing in their own way, and this past feast would have not been the same without each of you!

We pray you all are well and staying strong! We pray you are walking in encouragement to grow closer to Him in all that you do! We pray that you as individuals, families and congregations are walking towards Him more faithful than ever! May you continue with Him!

Thank you all again for everything! We love you all so very much and are praying for you all!

Here is a short Promo video featuring highlights from The Feast of Tabernacles 2016!

What’s Your Story?

Shalom Sukkot Family!
It’s Nearly December now and we’re approaching our third month since we all were last together.
It was a great pleasure to have each and everyone of you with us this Year at Sukkot in Gainesville, Texas. I’m sure you would all agree that by the time we left, it was like we were all one big, close knit family, all dwelling together in unity. What a Joy and blessing it was!

It seems we all share some of the same feelings about our experiences. Two words that keep coming up was that Sukkot was full of both healing and growth. We all learned so much from the testimonies of the families and individuals there, each one having something to add. Everyone was so open and willing to share, it was like one big melting pot of true believers, each individual learning from another and encouraging one another. There was so much good and blessing that came out of our time, it was beautiful! Hearts healed, families strengthened, children drawn to their parents and parents to their children, relationships restored and over all, was life changing!!! And when lives are changing, people are being prepared for YHWH (Luke 1:17b)! How exciting!

We thought it would be encouraging to hear the testimonies of other Sukkot family members of how Yah is working in your lives as a result of this year’s Sukkot. So we’re asking you, if you are willing, to record in print or in a short video, your thoughts and experiences at Sukkot this past year, telling of all that YHWH has done for you. You can post them on The Feast of Tabernacles facebook page so everyone can be encouraged.
https://www.facebook.com/thefeastoftabernacles

Coming out of our time, we all are welcomed home, revived and ready to put into practice everything we’ve learned and gained from our experiences at Sukkot! At first, it’s so easy because everything is fresh on our mind, we’re all just so excited we want to share all the things we’ve learned and what Yah put on our hearts. But as you know, if we don’t watch, sometimes as time goes on, it gets harder and the devil wants us to forget about the changes we want to make or habits we have committed to break and/or create. The cares of this life want to take over. Lets make a stand and not let this be the case in our lives!!

Its nice to find ways to hold each other accountable, as brother Harris was encouraging us to all have an accountability partner. To keep in touch and share with your brothers and sisters in Messiah the wonderful things you’re learning and to hear the testimonies of things others have learned and things they’ve put into practice since Sukkot and how lives have changed.

We all have our stories, we all have our testimonies and it’s our belief we can all be encouraged and receive much joy upon hearing from each other.

Follow us on our facebook page and post your testimony.

Also, all the facebook posts will be posted to our Feast of tabernacles blog so if you do not have a facebook page, you can read at: http://thefeastoftabernacles.com/blog/
To share, please email to Rejoice@thefeastoftabernacles.com and we will share!

It does not have to be anything extraordinary, just be you and share what the Father puts on your heart.
Also, feel free to post your photos or videos from Sukkot, I’m sure we would all love to see them!

Looking forward to hearing from you!

May you all be encouraged to continue to grow ever closer to Him!

Looking Back on Sukkot 2015…What a wonderful FEAST we had!!!

Shalom Brothers and Sisters in Messiah!

WOW! What an amazing and inspiring Feast of Tabernacles we had! Our Sukkot gathering in Big Sandy, Texas was one of the best yet! All of us absolutely enjoyed ourselves VERY much! The Atmosphere was one of true love, unity and fellowship in Truth Complete with the Reading of the ENTIRE TORAH, Great Messages, praise and worship, enjoyable activities and lively Midrash discussions! :)

Yah was so amazing in the way He worked out the whole set up! He literally guided us and orchestrated the entire thing. Everything from the place, to the coordination, to the help and volunteers, to the “back up” tent of meeting that turned out to be absolutely splendid to the people that came!

We were so blessed to meet so many new people who are all just so sweet, loving and encouraging. WE see in all our Sukkot Family a willingness to learn, grow, and live for YAH being ready for HIS kingdom!  Baruch HaShem, bless HIS name!

I would like to thank the People at ALERT academy for letting us host The Sukkot Celebration there. I would like to thank all the people who helped organize the gathering before we even got there!  Such a blessing! A BIG shout out to the people who helped us get there when we had tire trouble and then later truck trouble!!! Y’all are life savers!! :)

Thank you to the generous Gentleman who so willingly let us borrow many things to make everything run more smoothly, and for supplying the materials and tools for the Tent of meeting!

Thank you to All the hands that so selflessly helped to set up everything at Sukkot!  Without you guys, I do not know where we would be!  Y’all were such a blessing to our family!  We want to thank all the people who helped with the cooking for such a large group!!!  It was all amazing food!!! A True feast INDEED!

And last but not least, I would like to thank all the loving people who attended and helped to read aloud from the Torah, and to everyone who helped to make things more enjoyable with your presence! Reading through the Torah together was in my opinion the best part of the whole Sukkot!!!!!

WE really enjoyed meeting each and everyone of you, and we look forward to seeing y’all again soon! :) WE are family forever! :)

Although pictures will never be able to express the Joyful worship we experienced while at Sukkot…You can view a few that we have uploaded HERE! Enjoy! =]

Until we meet again, May you have many blessings and good times in His name.
Shalom,
Brother Mark Harris and Family! 🙂

Sukkot 2014 Recap!

Shalom y’all!

Sukkot at Garner State Park 2014 was an amazing heart changing experience. What a wonderful time of worship and activities to build our faith and draw us closer to YHWH our Maker and to each other as families.

The daily messages were an encouragement to all to stand up and be strong families, preparing for the Kingdom! Many small groups gathered around to have Torah and scripture studies together and to discuss subjects from the word!

Youth, men and women had the opportunity to gather together in break-out sessions after the message to discuss real issues that pertain to them in like-minded fellowship!

Men’s Morning Prayer time started the day with a strong accountability to fathers as the spiritual leaders of  their families and elders of the group!

In the evenings, we were blessed to have many brothers and sisters share messages, teachings, and testimonies in order to uplift the brethren in Truth and also to help equip them with more knowledge for living healthy and spiritual lives!

Activities that were based on families and individuals working together, brought the hearts of the people together like One Big Family. Hikes and Peaks brought you up to high places that Young and old were able to experience the beauty of YHWH’s creation. Daily activities included a treasure hunt, blind fold challenge, obstacle course, volley ball, basket ball, ultimate frisbee and much more! After the hot sweaty activities during the day, there was the cool Frio River to take a splash in. It felt so good and refreshing as well as created much fun for the youth, due to the giant tree rope that swung out over the water! We also had a great contest of jumpers jumping from a 30 ft. tree into the water. That was a hit.

People were encouraged to practice hospitality and invite other familes to join meals with them so that everyone got to know each other! While at  designated times, there was group meals that brought everyone together to feast! The variety of tasty and enticing dishes on the group dinner tables were enormous. Everything tasted so good you had to trust your choice!

At night the all gathered around campfires to enjoy a time of fellowship and rejoicing! Marshmallows, smores’s, glow stick parties along with music and dancing filled the camp in an atmosphere of true rejoicing. There was no room to be sad. Praise Yah for blessing us with that set-apart time of yearly worship! Thank you all for coming to experience the joy and fill yourself with the love of Messiah. His Feasts are a true BLESSING!!!

I want to send a big shout-out and say Thank you to all those who contributed their help, money and equipment to make Sukkot run smoothly.
Thank you to the generous family who sponsored the famous “Bar Mitzvah” which supplied drinks and meals such as lemonade, burgers and ribbon fries the whole duration of Sukkot! We appreciate all the volunteers that helped in the kitchen as well!

Thank you to Everyone who contributed to make Sukkot at Garner State Park happen, as we were able to help may people come and join us who might have not been able otherwise!!!!

Thank you to the Worship teams and all those that got up real early to bring praises to YHWH in the Tabernacle. May we come again together next Year in the spirit of Holiness to rejoice before YHWH at the Feast Of Tabernacles as Families UNITED for Our Messiah.

Next Year In Jerusalem!
Shalom,
The Sukkot Family! =]
