NEW MOON SIGHTED – Preparation Month Begins!

The New moon was sighted On August 31st At 7:00 pm in Jerusalem… Therefore Today is the New Moon or New Month (Rosh Chodesh in Hebrew) starting on September 1st, 2011. This officially starts the 6th Month (Elul) on the Hebrew Calendar, and is therefore the Preparation Month for the fall Feast Days, which starts one month from today.

Just like the Sabbath (Shabbat in Hebrew) has a preparation day on the 6th day of the week, we like to use the 6th month to properly prepare for the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and, of course, the Feast of Tabernacles and the Last Great Day.

So, to better prepare for all of the fall Holy Days including the Feast of Tabernacles please sign up for more information, at the form on the right side of the page, and you’ll get a series of emails to help you prepare for this special season which is coming upon us.

Feast Of Tabernacles Dates 2011

Many people would like to know the dates for The Feast Of Tabernacles 2011.  This year (2011) the 15th day of the seventh month (Tishri) on the Hebrew calendar is expected on October  13th at evening.  Therefore, the seven days of the Feast of Tabernacles should be complete on the 20th, and the last great day (or the 8th day of the feast) is expected on October 21st.  Remember, the first day of each month is determined by the actual sighting of the New Moon, so that’s why we say “expected”.  Of course, this means that these dates could be off one day.

Many people  have questions about how this works, and why in some years different believers have different dates!  If you would like to know more about the Hebrew Calendar, and exactly how you can know exactly what day the Feasts are to be kept, please send us an email at: rejoice@thefeastoftabernacles.com, and you’ll receive an email with detailed information about this topic.

May you be blessed as you prepare for this joyful celebration!

Sukkot 2010 Review

Shalom Brothers and Sisters!

Yah’s Spirit of gratitude was with us as we pulled into the campground in which we would hold the feast of Sukkot. What a wonderful and very blessed Feast we had this year as we rejoiced before YHWH our Maker and learned to fear Him always. YHWH’s spirit filled all of our hearts with many blessings of love and joy! The messages were so inspiring and so encouraging for all of us! The fellowship was wonderful, exciting and uplifting! Seeing others who walk in the truth as they give their lives with gratitude to Our Maker is What is YHWH wants for His set apart people! Thank you everyone who helped with the setup and cleanup of the services in the meeting hall. Thank you all who helped orchestrate the meals, and the activities to make this year run smoothly! We appreciated the great company and stories all of you brethren provided here in Texas as we sat around the campfires and others campsites! YHWH has truly blessed our time this year, and I cannot wait to see you all again next year. I know many more of you who are already wanting to attend! Those of you who could not make it thank you for joining us over the phone and internet. We really appreciated your company. May YHWH bless your travels next year as you all go to the place where He chooses to place His Name!

Over the next few months we will be getting more content up here about next year, as well as videos and pictures of Sukkot 2010.

Until then, may YHWH bless you all abundantly as your walk with Him in the next year to follow.

Shalom Alechiem,
Mark Harris

Invitation To The Feast Of Tabernacles 2010!

Many ask us… “Where can I keep the feast of tabernacles?”

This is a great question…  There are different groups that have organized feast sites around the world to give people a chance to keep the feast of tabernacles.

We felt called to facilitate a feast site where committed believers, who are dedicated to the holy walk,  could come and enjoy an authentic feast of tabernacles experience.    For those new in the walk, you’ll find our Biblical approach to the feast of  tabernacles, very exciting, inspiring, educational and encouraging.   If you are a long-time dedicated feast-goer, then you will be truly inspired by the new people, the fellowship, and the strong spiritual focus.

We encourage families and individuals to come and rejoice with us before YHWH, and celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles with us, this year in Texas.

The Feast of Tabernacles, along with the Last Great Day is a total of 8 days short! 🙂  There will be camping for seven days along with worship services, question and answer sessions, bible studies, many scheduled activities and family fun!!

It’s a time when YHWH’s set apart people gather together in a set apart place to worship Him in sincerity and truth, and to learn to fear YHWH always.

If you are a dedicated believer, who is committed to The Almighty, than we’d love for you to to come .   We are looking forward to seeing you there.

More details will be included in your follow up emails, after you request more information by filling in the form on this page.  So, if you’d like to learn more, or if you’d like to attend the feast of tabernacles 2010 with us, do it now!

Shalom Sukkot!
